This amazing school reflects on some favorite portions of the Sound to Sea Environmental Education Program.  They were full of energy and had a great time!

Another post of my students talking about water quality issues and what they can do to mitigate human impact.

In Pond Class, we do this demonstration using a bowl of water and tell a story while the students pour canisters of ‘pollution’ into the lake, then we ask them if they would swim, drink, fish, and canoe in the lake.  This discussion happens directly after this activity.

Glenwood elementary recently finished a program named Underground Railroad, which entails a simulatio of being a slave and being pursued by bounty hunters, finally making it it Canada.  The students in this podcast are casually talking about how descrimination might affect them and ways in which they can get other people to stop descrimination.

Randi’s class talks on the effects of pollution and the effects of water quality.

Another reflection after we had our beach class, talking about why we like sea turtles and how beach development might affect them.
